Moving, moving and moving; wedding and wedding

While I was staying overnight at a hotel in Leeds during my house moving, I called my brother who was also getting ready for his own house moving in the following day in Seoul. He told me that his wife Mi-Kyung would attend Eunho's wedding which was just about to take place. He said he won't be able to go himself as he had to keep his clinic open until the afternoon. Actually I had managed to catch Eunho over the phone only a few minutes before talking to my brother. She said she was in the middle of getting her bride make-up done in a beauty salon. I was missing on my beautiful, "precious" friend Eunho's wedding... I was so sad that I couldn't get asleep well all night. Since Eunho and I became friends more than 20 years ago, we spent so much time, dreaming and chatting together about love, giving love, being loved and being somebody special for somebody else. Now, I was not there at all for her important moment. It is not the end, of course. I mean getting married is not the end of the story. Life continues anyhow. But it still felt upsetting that I was so far away helplessly and not with my lovely Eunho. (About five years ago, I had to miss Hye-Jin's wedding as well. I still so regret that I was not able to be there for her.)

The day before yesterday was my mum's house moving. She seemed quite happy about her new place which is small but comfortable.

Taking a breath first time since arriving in London, Hyun called Miwa on her mobile a few days ago to find out that she was travelling in Edinbourgh with her father. Miwa broke the news that Haruko has just got married in Tokyo. What a surprise... Very many congratulations to Haruko and Nagai san! I wish from my heart the newly-wedded couple all the happiness. (Haruko, you should tell me more about your wedding!)

Eric came down from Paris just for a few days and had a quick drink with Hyun briefly before Hyun went up to Sheffield for a conference. I had to miss him this time, stuck home to get things sorted out. Pauline and his wedding invitation had safely arrived at my previous place in Leeds just before my moving. Time to buy train tickets to Paris for October. I will be there, Eric and Pauline. Hope we could meet again for a toast this summer. I understand Misuzu san will be visiting Miwa this month. It will be great if we all could hang out together again. Hyun and I could come over to France with Miwa and Misuzu san. Excited to see Misuzu san again...
